Erin Palmer Polly has been a trial lawyer since 2002, practicing primarily in general business and tort litigation. She has represented corporate and individual clients in professional malpractice lawsuits, contract disputes, civil rights lawsuits, disputes over covenants not to compete, wrongful death lawsuits, class action lawsuits, and business tort lawsuits. Ms. Polly has also represented plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury actions.
Ms. Polly is a native of Winchester, Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude from Maryville College in 1999, with a B.A. in Political Science. Ms. Polly received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2002. She served as the Executive Student Materials Editor of the Tennessee Law Review and authored the article “The World Trade Organization Slips Up: A Critique of the World Trade Organization’s Dispute Settlement Understanding Through the European Union Banana Dispute,” published in Volume 69 of the Tennessee Law Review.
Ms. Polly is a member of the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations. She is actively involved in the Maryville College Alumni Board and received the 2006 Young Alumni Award from the College. Ms. Polly also serves on the Board of the Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, is an Associate in the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court, and coaches the St. Cecilia High School Mock Trial Team.
