Gayle Malone, Jr.

Gayle Malone, Jr. was born and raised in Trenton, Tennessee. He graduated from The McCallie School in 1966, Vanderbilt University in 1970, and Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1973. He has been actively engaged in the practice of civil trial law since 1973, representing plaintiffs and defendants in business, construction, insurance, health care, medical staff and certificate of need actions, and all types of personal injury litigation, including medical negligence, products liability, premises liability, aviation, and motor vehicle actions. He is a Rule 31 listed general civil mediator and, as part of his practice, regularly acts as a mediator or an arbitrator for parties and their counsel in all types of litigation.

He is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Nashville Bar Associations, the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Tennessee Association for Justice. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Nashville Bar Association from 1982 to 1984 and served as an officer of the Nashville Bar Association in 1984. In 1995, he was elected a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the International Academy of Defense Counsel and was on the faculty of the 25th Annual Defense Trial Academy in Boulder, Colorado, in 1997. Mr. Malone is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in the Nashville Post's "Best Lawyers in Nashville."
