History
Walker, Tipps & Malone PLC was originally formed as Walker, Bryant & Tipps in January 2000 by eight civil litigation attorneys from a respected Nashville law firm who wanted to form a practice dedicated exclusively to civil litigation and trial work. The firm became known as Walker, Bryant, Tipps & Malone in May 2002 when Gayle Malone, a senior partner in the litigation group of another prominent Nashville law firm, joined the practice. In August 2006, John Bryant was appointed as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the firm’s name was changed to Walker, Tipps & Malone PLC. In May 2010, Edward Yarbrough, former United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee, joined the firm, adding criminal defense as an area of practice. Since its launch, Walker, Tipps & Malone PLC has earned an outstanding reputation as a quality litigation boutique whose attorneys strive to provide superior legal services to clients in Tennessee and nationwide.
